Willkommen!

Our tavern proudly embraces its namesake, General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, a Revolutionary War hero known for his bold tactics and fiery spirit. His story is steeped in legend-he is said to be the first Pennsylvanian buried in two locations. Originally laid to rest in Presque Isle, PA, his family later arranged to bring him home to Radnor, PA. During the long journey, rough roads and early travel methods caused some of his remains to be lost along the way.

We've taken great care to preserve the historic integrity of our building, showcasing its natural warmth and old-world charm. With more than 200 years of history within its walls, you may hear haunting tales or even experience a bit of the paranormal yourself. Our location also places us within the rich heritage of Old Economy Village, a treasured landmark in Ambridge.

While still offering the authentic German favorites that made Mad Anthony's a local legend, we've now paired the originals with fresh takes on American classics.
